OK, I get the training deal, sorry for the misunderstanding about the pay, I meant to say you have to call them to find out what you will earn per mile or trip, whichever they pay by.
Would a single experienced driver need to train people if he didn't want too??? Or are all the runs teamed for JIT reasons???? What do they govern the trucks at if you know?

Drivers have a set payscale. 1 yr experience.34cpm, 2 yr .36 up to 5 years which pays 38cpm..pay keeps going up every year with no cap. One driver here is at .49 cpm and that is just the base pay. hub bonus is .01cpm for staying in route-payed monthly, fuel bonus payed monthly and could be 1cpm,2cpm or 3cpm-depends on fuel milage and performance bonus is 1cpm for all miles for the quarter. We do have trainers, but all others are solo drivers running the Midwest/Southeast regions. Trucks are governed at 65 mph.
jlind Thanks this. -
Thanks for the reply frozen tundra, something to keep in my little folder if I end up looking for work! Haven't done reefer in a while but I'm sure I can figure the buttons out pretty quick!! 65 is a little slower then I'm accustomed to but as long as the time is there on the run I slow down some anyway to save fuel so shouldn't be a biggie...
Good luck and stay safe!!! -

Really Considering getting with Windy Hill and thank you for covering alot of questions I had , Called Donna in Florida she was out sick but had a few questions not covered or needed updated
What kind of equipment does Windy Hill Run?
stick or auto's?
apu's or idle policy?
still no touch freight? I was told when calling they run plants out of Florida then paper back from Wisconsin?
thanks in advance to who ever has the answers

they have auto's and stick ..freightliners. volvo's and international's ..some trucks have apu's.. if you don't have an apu you can idle.. the less you idle the bigger ur fuel bonus will be..driver's onload plant's out of florida ..otherwise it's no touch..Over the past year or so they have bought obout 50 new freightliners and 50 or 60 new trailer's..approxamatly..

Isnt it true you sign a contract that you will pay them the fuel cost (approx. 18-15K) if you do not complete training etc???? If that's true then that's a lot of money.xlsdraw Thanks this.
