Thinking about Western Express, they offer a free refresher course, but I haven't heard a lot about them. Any drivers out there that can tell me the good, bad, and the ugly? How's the equipment, miles, pay? Any info would be helpful.
How is Western Express??

have you even talked to a recruiter from them yet?
theres a western express sub forum in here that might help you out some, which division are you looking into (van or flatbed) how long you been out of a truck? -
interested in hearing the results

They put you in a truck with another refresher guy and you and him drive 15000 miles at .15 cpm each. Then you go with a trainer for a check out

Western Express is absolutely the WORST company out there be warned
Moon_beam Thanks this. -
Talked with a recruiter today, I'm open to either flatbed or dryvan. I've been out of the truck since 09 and still have my cdl and up to date physical. Choices of companies are limited of course. I've been thinking about maverick, but I have no flatbed experience and can't decide if it's something I'm interested in or not. I had not heard about western express til today when I saw an ad online advertising that they were hiring in my area.
