Oh yeah. I forgot swift locks cards unless it's on routing. Sucks for the locals. I used to always fuel wherever I could.
-
Today I couldn't use my card for a scale ticket. Every macro I put in except a mac1 came back that I had screwed it up and needed to fix it; DVIR took 3 tries. If things don't get better soon I'll probably be saying farewell before the month is out. Also, on entering my mac1 I got (what I assume was) an automated message telling me I arrived (no s*¡t!) and telling me not to back in to anything. If you're telling your drivers not to back into things every time they get to a cx micro management has reached a whole new level.

So you properly used harbinger and then in the same day created this sentence?! Lol just giving you a hard time.Arkansas Frost Thanks this.

That's strange. I spoke to payroll today and asked them that specifically. They said. Whatever you could do with central. You can do with the swift card. Except go out of route.

I sent a macro today at 1400, requesting authorization to take a $h!t at Petro #386. I was only authorized for Flying J #132, and had to wait an hour for authorization.

I'm guessing it may be a little less frustrating for o/o's. But, as a company driver, it's a royal pain in the arse. Stopped to buy anti-gel, Comdata card declined. I was not at an authorized fuel stop. Stopped to top off a reefer tank before dropping, declined. My DM's attitude is like, "oh well, be patient it'll all work out." What? Are you kidding me? I don't know who dropped the ball, but someone's head should roll for this debacle. Somebody in a high position should have been responsible for DM's being trained and in turn training us. That did not happen. Now it's too late for me to drink the kool-aid. My focus will be keeping the truck upright til I figure out my next employer. Swift can kiss my arse.
Auteon, Lady K, Aimstraight and 2 others Thank this. -
I was unable to get reefer fuel today because my Comdata card was declined. It was not a scheduled fuel stop, but i wanted to top off this empty before dropping at the shipper. I sincerely hope we don't have to get pre-authorization for reefer fuel now. Fingers-crossed this is an oversight and will be fixed soon.
At the moment I'm inclined to agree with Clyde. These aren't minor glitches. This is fundamental, daily tasks required to do our jobs that are screwed up. It's mind numbing to think that they got overlooked. -
Maybe it'll change after they start buying loads that were dropped at drop yards because of temperature abuse.
