Did you try a higher resistance? Or did you connect it the right way?

Pdi c12 mid roof 9200 pulling High cubes with 3.55s also runs all day doing air mile work. Not exactly the best for the job. There's no reason why trucks can't get almost 7mpg

Exactly! If all the makers stopped worrying about greenhouse gasses, there could be 13MPG or more trucks on the road right now...so your c12 was tuned by PDI? I had a c12 a couple years back and man was that thing slow! 410 horses and 1350torque making 5mpg on a good day...

    Might need a bigger resistor..

It did give me maybe .1 mpg.. i did notice more power, maybe 50 hp.. i am going to save up for an overhaul properly in a few years. If i have the money.. i am going to find mr. Haney and buy a turbo, ecm, air to air, and get it done right. I decided trying to do more will likely not help me ebough to justify the money. I get 9 empty.. or more, so i just would rather keep the trailor loaded.

Yes turbo swapped too. If I could get the rpm's lower at 65 it would probably do better.

Saying it was slow is a understatement. It's a #### turtle stock and got 4.8-5.6mpg going 58 all day. Now it pulls 80k like nothing. It will hang with a 550 cat as others have said. It's a great little motor.
