Yeah, all this Swift bull#*=t is taking its toll on me too. Stupid macros. Got one Monday said they had changed my PTA to a date and time when I was actually going to be on the westbound I-80 under load. Said the planners would expect me to be available at that time. One of the fastest ways to tick me off is to change my PTA, but this one was just stupid. Never did get another dispatch after that, not that it would have made any difference. I am sticking to my original PTA, taking a reset at home.

 

I'm done with this company. Been out 30+ days and I get news of death in my family and ask them to get me home. I'm in northern IL now, I was in OKC when I sent DM message. It is now three days later and still have no load going to ATLANTA. That's enough for me to look for employment at another company.

 

Have your dm check with the Kraft dm's. We have loads from Chicago to Atlanta.

 

They really are all about micro management. I guess we get the heads up not to crash every time we get to a cx now, which is good because if I they don't tell me not to hit things how will I know not to? I guess they know swifties are the lowest common denominator.

In other news I was b¡tchin to my former boss about being bought like property, and subsequently treated as such this morning and he offered me a job. $1000-1200/week plus $25 per diem for nights spent in a hotel. 5-6 days on, 1-2 off. If this doesn't get better and fast I'm gonna take him up on it. It would be basically the same money but I'd get Sundays and some Saturdays off at home. Oh, and I'd get to have a couple pints after work.

 

That's right Clyde. They can trust you with a $100,000 truck and $ 100,000 in freight, but can't trust you to buy $ 7.99 worth of anti-gel.

 

Dm seems to not care. He gives me a load going west not south. I'm done with Central I'm going to take the offer that Melton has given me. It's flatbed and a lil cold to be learning to tarp and all but I don't like how they have just done me. Four months one Sf and one tow out of a bad mistake on my part. The one tow had no damage to anything and this how you treat a driver. It may work for others but not this driver. You guys be safe see u on d hwy.
