This is the part that pisses me off. Assume all drivers and companies are guilty and just not caught yet.

"Interstate truck and bus companies and their drivers should have no doubt that we will vigorously enforce all federal safety regulations to the fullest extent possible by law," said FMCSA Administrator Anne S. Ferro. "Carriers and drivers who flout the safety rules put the public at risk and will be shut down."

Enforcement does not scare these fools. The guy was drunk, he had done it before. Why did he have a CDL and why was he allowed to have his own authority?

The fine/penalty for DUI is probably less than talking on a cellphone.

The DOT like most federal bureaucracies as well has become far too over reaching and way too intrusive into our lives, and like all other federal bureaucracies that operate on a use it or lose it federal budget scheme, it can never grow too big, too intrusive, and too powerful, as our federal leviathan is morphing into a totalitarian police state. In any event, the DOT needs to be about a quarter of the size it is today.

drivers like the rest of the public is not immune to
the stupidity of humanism or addiction
like locked doors only protect honest "normal" people from others like themselves
there would be no dui's in society if people were not still driving drunk

The first incident required a SAP evaluation. Being an OO I bet that was never done.

I wonder how an idiot can become an OO in the first place?

Tazewell is in the sticks. I'd say it's safe to say he's a back woods redneck.

    Throw the key away!
