I was driving for CR EnglandThe accident was very minor and it wasn't preventable and it wasn't DOT recordable but England put on my DAC it was preventable... I don't know what to do cause I love driving and thats all I wanna do. Any advice???

Did you take any pictures of any damage done? Was there a police report?
GutterLess Thanks this. -
What are the details of the accident?

I just got out of school in October and drove with them for about 4 months. However the whole time I went through training I never drove on bad road conditions and I was on a dedicated route for most of my training. The roads were snow/ice covered and traffic was going about 20-25 mph and it all of a sudden stopped and I was unable to come to a complete stop before I hit the rear of another tractor trailer. The other driver I hit didn't even stop either and there was minor - no damage done. I would say under $1000 if not $500 I did file a police report but on my DAC it was not DOT recordable and I didn't get a ticket or anything. Plus after the accident England told me to keep driving if its drivable.

And yes I took pictures. U can barely notice of any damage til u zoom n or get real close

Since the other driver took off, I wouldn't have even reported it. He's still working and you're not. He probably let his truck roll back into you at a traffic light and then took off when the light changed; "that's my story and I'm stickin' to it."HalpinUout, Rockwyrm, Joetro and 4 others Thank this.

I am sorry that happened to you
but fact remains if you rear end someone
it is ALWAYS preventable
you didn't have control of your vehicle
it is the definition of preventableBig Don, Joetro, otherhalftw and 9 others Thank this. -
I already reported it. :'( Think someone will take me though?

would you have run into the other truck if you wernt following too closely? Most times if not all if you hit a stationary object it is your fault
blairandgretchen Thanks this.
