yes team drivers have to abide to the same rules as single drivers, down to the hours driving and sleeper berth. there are a lot of drivers that do not like this rule, teams before the hours of service change were able to drive 5 on and 5 off. have talked to some coast to coast teams lately and they like the 11 hours of driving at one time, after talking to them and the benifts they have changed my mind on the rule.

I don't think so if you go to the site it seems to me they are saying they work 12 hour shifts that may include a meal break but the driver in the video doesn't elaborates on it

Ok simply put they can both work 14 hours each with 11 of that actually driving. With a max of 70 hours which works out to besides fueling the truck can run 24 hours a day with a 10 hour layover every 7 days As the first drivers hours reset

Can I watch this video or do I need to be a driver. I will search it, but I would say maybe they start their 12 hour clock instead of 14 hour clock.

So if they start # 8:00 am they say 12 hours later my co-driver will take over, why??? I don't know. But I would like to watch the video:yes2557:

I would like to know what the outcome is on the video...because when I drove teams my co-driver said that and I told him I wasn't going to do this and he told me it was legal....of course I didn't drive that way and I changed co-drivers....he said he did all the time with his other driver....I never could understand what he meant...

You can't drive that 12 hours, in the 12 hour period they would only be driving 11 or less (line 3 time). I am assuming and yeah I am going to try, but darn it, I can't do videos lost my drives to do several things :(.

    I will try right now

I can't find it to view it, I know they used to allow visitors to see it, but I think they stopped. Link me if you can and I will watch and learn :)
