Yeah, be sure to read every thread from every country on this site next time before you make a comment. I wish Americans would learn to read properly and stop drifting over here all the time with their useless two cents

    Willi and nate980 Thank this.

I got this one few weeks ago, http://dashcamtalk.com/powerucc-panoramaii/ , after reading the ratings; they ship it from Korea , aprox 300$ (including shipping, mount and 32GB card very good quality video, with 32GB cards records over 6 hours HD1080 in short cycles 3-5 min; can use 128 or even 256 GB cards; this is great in low light, lots of features , external gps, shows position speed. sharp but doesn't have IR.
Before this I used one of this(I still have it),http://www.thesource.ca/estore/prod...=Specialty-cameras/Camcorders&product=8009171 from Source; this records in total darkness, has 6 IR illuminators, but doesn't have range , the IR doen't work well through windshield, won't record record nothing beyond headlights range during night and way lower quality during day and low light. I was trying to buy larger IR illuminator, the kind they use for security and try if gets better night range, but all are powered by 110V, and I wouldn't keep my power invertor running nonstop for dash cam.

I have been using this one for about a year it works well for the price but no good at night and or for license plate numbers.

I turned off my IR lights. They produced too much glare with street lights & oncoming traffic in the video. On the highway it picks up where my headlights illuminate so will bear witness to anything in front of me which is what I want.

There may be some way to position the camera to avoid this but I haven't found it.
