1.) I have a question if I have a class A license can I drive a Class B vehicle?
2.) Another question is let say they require class B for 2 years experience and I have Class A license for 2 years experience will they accept it or I have to drop back to have a Class B license to earn that 2 years experience?

Chinatown Thanks this.

If you have a Class A with the proper Endorsements it is good for any Vehicle, A, B or C as long as you have experience in that particular Class. If you can drive a Bobtail, you should have enough qualified experience wise to drive a Straight Truck.

So your answer to question #1 is Yes, and #2 is No.

You seriously need to do some research on here (I just looked at your other posts)

use she the advanced search function above- it's your friend ;-)

good luck............

to answer your question: if you have a class c- you can drive a c vehicle

if you have a class b- you can drive a class b OR class c vehicle

and if you have a class a- you can drive a class a,b,or c vehicle

If they require two years of just CDL driving experience, you'll be good at that point. If it's two years of operating a specific vehicle type (e.g., dumps, roll off, etc.), that'll be a different matter.

Thank you guys for the info. By the way is said something like QUALIFICATIONS: Two years related experience. Must possess a current Class B driver’s license with airbrake endorsement.

So I guess I have to get my Class A license then drive any Class B vehicle with air break for 2 years then I earn my 2 years experience. Then I just apply new Career the one that said Qualifications 2 years related experience, must posses a current Class B driver's license with air break.
Does that make sense?

Class B is the minimum they require. Related experience can be a bit of a loaded term... do they want just commercial driving experience? If so, two years of tractor-trailer driving should suffice and then some. Now, if it includes something like operating equipment, then they might want that. For example, if it has a flatbed mounted forklift, they might want flat & fork experience.
