Plenty for van, I started with Roehl when I lived in MA, went to Maine plenty. Paper mills mostly.

I live in Maine and they sometimes have a hard time getting me home, but the worst I have ever had was one day late. They only hire dry van for Maine though. That being said, I spend most of my time in the south east and mid west.

Does Roehl pay deadhead miles? Is there a lot of NYC? I had also read somewhere on the web that Roehl doesn't let drivers with under 1yr exp. to go into NYC or drive west of Denver...is that true?

Yes, they pay all dispatched miles.

I don't know about the restrictions for drivers under 1 year. However, I have don both, but have over 1 year experience. I believe NYC is optional.
