When kids are in danger, I don't think we should be accepting of their parenting choices.
Yes, we didn't have belts and car seats when we were kids, but the data is in, and not buckling a kid up is plain and simple child endangerment.sevenmph Thanks this. -
stabob Thanks this.
-
and I'm glad you made it out of the wreck. -
I think most passengers are unsecured in the truck.
And in most RV's.
Well, unless they are in the passenger seat with a belt on.
When I was in training I didn't have a restraint system in place when I was in the bunk, and when my daughter rode with me she didn't either.
She was often in the bunk on her computer.
And I doubt they would do much good in a crash.
Not to mention, they are such a hassle if you want to move around.
Who wants a web in the way all the time?
I've also seen a family of 4 or 5 in a single truck.
Mom, Dad and 2 or 3 kids.
How are they secured while driving?
Not!
Not to mention, busses.
There are no seat belts in most busses, even school busses. -
Sounds like a horrible punishment for all concerned. -
I can barely stand myself and 1 daughter in a single truck.
I could never imagine a family of 4 or 5 in this small space.
Yet, I see it all the time.
I guess they are better at space management than I am.bergy Thanks this. -
