You still in Houston?
-
Nope. Stuck in blizzard condition in Wyoming. This trip just keeps getting better and better
-
I know the T680's and Volvo's were mentioned as the new trucks that Melton is getting, any other makes that they are testing out or getting more of? I know that if I get hired on I won't be driving a new truck unless I really luck out, just curious as to what they might be getting.
-
Nothing else that I've seen. You'll probably be in a 660. Slight chance that you'll get a cascadia. Everyone in orientation with me got a 660 with under 140k miles on it
-
Sounds good, are the T660's as small as everyone makes them out to be? I'm used to sleeping in the cab of an Army HEMTT with no sleeper at all lol. So, I think the cab of a 660 will feel like an apartment compared to that!
-
They definitely are not huge. That's for sure. Storage is rather limited. There's about 2.5 feet from the edge of the bunk to the back of the front sests.
-
There's a 2x2 shelf with a small cubby hole under it on each side. Closet on driver side, 2 more 2x2 shelves on passenger side with room for a fridge at the bottom. Rest of my stuff is on too bunk.Room under bottom bunk to fit my 40qt cooler in.
-
Sounds cozy, but not too bad would be nice if they sprung for the 86" studio sleeper, but I'm dreaming lol
-
There is one thing that bugs the poo out of me. On these 660's, the center of the drivers seat is like 4 inches to the right of the center of the steering wheel. Why? I don't know either...
