    Got the green light today! Two loads booked delivering one in Tn. now and deliver the next to Chicago Monday morning. Happy with the rates. Had a little debacle with my fuel card, Covenant forgot to activate the fuel purchase on it : ) But its fixed now. Nice light freight so my fuel mileage should be great, at least till I get north and have to idle.. Alternator went on my APU, so thats on the list when i get home.

    My two runs this weekend pay out 1500 to the truck on 640 miles (loaded/empty). Not too shabby.

    ruffrider- I used to be on the chain gang, but Im taking it easy now after falling off a load tarping in 50mph winds in Texas. I miss it, loved the work, but now my back wont get mad at me anymore.

    Oh I understand that. That's why I pulled my 6 footers off. Only use 4" tarps so I want have so far to fall. At 57yo my flatbedding days will be numbered.
