I have had no problems using Speedco. I believe if you just want oil analysis only is around $14.00.
-
I get my oil sample kits from my oil supplier. $10 a pop, free postage send in, and reports sent to me email and to my oil rep.
-
how do you know you have no problems. Did you sample the same oil some ware else? They could be saying oil is fine when its not. You dont know, so you say you haven't had problems. try sampling the same oil at speedco and a mail in place like horizon and compare the results.

Eco pure and horizion are 2 different companies. KR suggesting not to do speedco samples has nothing to do with selling ecopure. Yes ecopure is a resaler of horizion sampling, but thye make there money on the ecopure and just offer the sampling as a service to customers. KR also never recommends going through ECOpure for oil sampling, he suggest going to Polaris. (unless you have an eco pure)

So you are saying not to trust any one source and to use 2 sources for every oil analysis? Interesting.....hawkjr Thanks this.

Only thing that kinda had me kinda giving the crooked eye to speedco was it said I had an "Abnormal" amount of Oxidation in my Oil in my last Oil Change. Told Me I was leaking coolant but the thing is I don't have any coolant loss and the truck really doesn't burn any above normal amounts of oil. Every since I got the truck the Oxidation level has been in between 10 - 14 with 14 being the highest last oil change as I had went 6K over on my normal 15K interval
