Sorry, should have been more specific. The program will not load, neither from the established link or from direct from the directory. When it was initially installed it would start when the unit was plugged in (ran in the background), now when you click on the link, nothing happens as if it wasn't there. And, yes, I have tried using admin priveledges.

Sounds like the program is corrupted. I work out of my house so whenever you wish me to remote into your computer to look at it, let me know.

Make sure you haven't installed any programs lately that could interfere with the dock. The prog that screwed up my dock was Gimp.

You can also tap on the mile marker and write a note that will be sent next time you dock & "tell rand."

Mark since an update couple times back my 720 I cannot get the screen to align. It is all over the place. It started imediately after the update. I cant explain why this should've happened. I have used a stylus to place exactly on the cross but that doesn't help. It also since then when touching the screen to go to that spot if touched again will go back to the regular map loosing the zoom in.

Contact RM support. The screen itself may be going south on you.

I have the tnd 500 worked well until they changed the dock, after that I can only explain it as is the system got dumb and dumber. contacted tech support and got no help
pretty much blew me off, and implied that I just didn't no how to use it. But told me I should get the map update.
System would take me off interstates route me through city streets and put me back on interstate because it thought there was a low bridge. (there wasn't one) But yet it has routed me to countless 12' bridges even a 8'7''. 2nd and 3rd tech. pretty much treated me the same way and didn't even bother to check system, but did advise I get map update. explained to them I'm not keen to spend money on a device that has so many other issues until I get them resolved.
4th tech actually did the logmein123 thing and found like 3 corrupt files and said he fixed them. He also advised I get the map update.
Got back out on my next trip and the only way I could find truck stops was if I used find cat scale feature.
Sick of all this I contacted support for the 5th time and asked if I could get a full reinstall done on system. Told me that was not a problem and that he would save my settings and addresses for I told him that would not be necessary ( as I would feel better to restart 100% clean) but he saved anyway.
I told him that he was the 5th tech. dealing with the gps and that all others had tried to get me to get map update. He told me that the update would not fit on my system. That is one of two things the techs are incredibly stupid in there work or it's a very BS push by the techs to throw my money away.
5th tech fixed it for some time, but now it's back to it's old quirks. maybe it was something that remained in the data that was saved I don't know.
In desperation I though I could format the device and then reload myself on the dock. bad ideal. took out files needed to dock. contacted support she did the login123 thing. removed my dock from pc to download new version. now she couldn't download dock told me there was nothing she could do for me and washed her hands of me.
She did offer to sell me a refurbished next model up though.
Not being one to give up I did a recovery on pc went back to before she removed old dock. was able to access dock did diagnose and repair and reloaded gps.
I should have done it twice but was sure I had got it and wanted to test, pc shows the device loaded but when you start it it says the license for the selected database is invalid or has expired. I can no longer access the dock and cant reinstall dock because of errors with system.
Get NaviInfo/RnvdInfo file missing UUID
An ex coworker of mine told me about you and told me to get in touch with you so your my last attempt to resolve this issue. from here I go on a crusade to dissuade
any and all drivers I come in contact with to steer clear of rand mcnally gps. there must be something to the fact that a lot of drivers refer to there system as
RANDOM MCNALLY. So if you can give me some info to someone who knows what they are doing and doesn't have to keep putting me on hold to go ask someone how to do there job. Or if there is some way you could send me the missing file or a download of a dock that doesn't require the gps to be connected it would be greatly appreciated. My e-mail is minifloat@verozon.net

You should not have had to go through all that. I am not sure of your E-mail, so here is mine. rmleadbetatester@gmail.com.

I do use Teamviewer to remote in. If you are around High speed internet that would help. I can take a look at the Dock issue and your unit then. What is the serial number off the back of the unit?

Found the issue. POI is on wrong spot if you do a Truck stop search, but if you put in actual address it routes you correctly.
