It's been close to a year. But..... I fit. And made money. So, back in the saddle.

 

And being brought back at the rate I left, which is a raise from GTI. Next time you kids see me, I'll be back at home in a silverish truck with a shiny reefer that isn't 10 years old.

 

Sometimes you gotta leave what you know is right to make sure it's right. They've always been good to me. Even after I left in haste and anger. I was burnt out. And they welcomed me back home, no caveats, just said c'mon back. They knew. I've always had a relationship with that company that was more than just employment. They were friends, even down in Florida with the shop, Kathy and Gary and everyone in dispatch (except for that lying scumbag Mike they fired). To be honest, I should have never left. But I'm glad to know they kept the door open.
