Yeah they are so money hungry that they will allow anyone in their store to buy whatever they want and will not pay their employees anywhere near what they are worth.
Cars and Buses can park in their parking lots all day long but don't dare let them see a Truck there or they will have a fit.... I agree this is not right at all. There are a lot of truckers in my family so I hear about this type of thing all the time. If everyone else can park in any parking lot to spend money in their facility then I don't see any reason why trucker can't park in any parking lot to do the same. They should not be made to do all of their shopping at a truck stop! -
Its already been said many times in many threads; When going to a Walmart to shop, park behind the building. This is the only area that has reinforced concrete to support the weight of the trucks. The parking area in front is designed for cars not 80,000 lb rigs.
I have seen alot of damage done in parking lots from big trucks. Everything from knocked over light poles to broken curbs (from trailers being dragged over it), to huge ruts in the grassy islands, to trash left behind, to cars that got clipped accidentally. Heck 1 moron even changed his oil in a Walmart parking lot and used the storm drain to dispose of the old oil!
Respect the fact you are entering private property. Park behind these stores and chances are you will be more welcome in the future. -
The whole thing is everyone needs to respect other peoples property. And if you know how to drive there is no reason any thing should be getting hit or clipped whether you park in front of the building or behind it. Most of the truck I see parked in a Wal~Mart parking lot usually stay away from the cars and park in areas around the end of the parking lot. There should be no issues for anyone when that is where they usually park. They are not doing anything wrong or hurting anyone. -
The damage is being done by heavy trucks driving on unreinforced parking areas. Please go to the back of the lot at Walmarts or any other store for that matter especially in the hot summer. That black top will get so hot it will actually ooze like mud when you drive over it causing substantial damage.

Our paster told me that I could park in the church Parking lot..... I let him know that the truck would not treat the lot the same way as a car. Now I only park there in the winter when it is frozen.

Excellent someone that gets it!
This is a common error on drivers parts. They will use large parking lots to make u-turns in and cause substantial damage. Sometimes the drivers are even caught doing it and the company is on the hook for several thousand dollars in repairs.
