Hey folks, I just graduated from trucking school, a community college, almost a month ago and have found this site to be very informative. I really appreciate the useful information.
As a newbie it's tough to know where to go to start your trucking career, I've seen good and bad reviews online on every company to the point where the reviews have become worthless.
    Who do you believe?
I've read some threads on here from people who work for U S Xpress and I'm leaning that way right now, I've got to pull the trigger soon and make the jump somewhere.
    Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

What about Melton Truck Lines in Tusla?
If you have the endorsements, go with a tanker company.

Hi Chinatown, I looked at Melton, they appear to be a flatbed company and I don't want to do flatbeds but thanks for the suggestion. I've passed my tanker and hazmat tests but still waiting for my background check results, shouldn't have any problems there. I applied to a tanker company but they didn't currently have any openings for a new driver. Seems that most tanker companies require at least a year of experience. I know I've got to get some experience somewhere to be able to have more options available then maybe I'll start looking into oilfield work more locally.
    Thanks for your input.
