Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds
Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.

I'm not following you. They say the person arriving at the yield sign (the one wanting to merge) shall yield the right-of-way. Even if there were merge signs on the freeways I don't see how that is at odds with the idea that "It's the cars who are merging responsibility to get on the freeway safely."

Merging 4 wheelers ? Thats what that pull cord is for over your left ear! The trucks still have them --dont they ?:smt115

Nope! With the way trucks are now they come equipped with a big, neon pink button that says "EXCUSE ME THIR!" in Richard Simmons' voice when you push it."Hang - Man", Mr Ed, OPUS 7 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Anyone merging into traffic from an on ramp has the yield. Trucks or cars. It's not the flow of traffics responsibility to let anyone on. I've been a truck in the left lane in the same situation and had that happen to me. Your lack of experience showed in your actions to cut the car off. It's not your job to move over. It's theirs to merge when safe
OPUS 7 Thanks this. -
my cascadia has the old style lanyard pull horn.
"Hang - Man" Thanks this. -
Is there another style to hit the big horn other than the pull cord ?
Just some things they shouldn't do away with the big horn pull cord and the exhaust stacks. -
yeah some trucks have a button on the steering wheel for the air horn
