You guys must be company drivers because a truck like this one would be capable of 15+ mpg that compared to a 5 mpg long nose truck running 120,000 miles a year @ $4/gal diesel would cost at least $64,000 less to operate in a year with the same revenue and considering the turbine motor is multi-fuel that includes natural gas that would take off around $10,000 more on the operating cost.
This truck could cost $250,000 and still be worth it for the fuel mileage savings over a conventional long nose truck because if my revenue is $200,000 plus a year with less than $20,000 in fuel cost is a huge profit per mile with fuel cost to revenue at less than 10% is hard to beat in today's trucking industry.
Also riding in the center will give you the best ride possible along with a lot smaller blind spots to make it even safer.
Today`s trucks made after 2003 are pure crap with exception of a glider kit with a pre-2003 motor. This truck with electric motors and turbine energy generation like a locomotive has my interest up for something new. Love the Aerodynamic look, but I have always preferred a corvette over model T any day.Studebaker Hawk and Rockin&Rollin Thank this. -
About 5 of them in a couple of days.

That is probably the future that your looking at. Ugly as a stetson full of ########## but practical in a lot of ways.
