Yeah, I called them first thing this morning, they said you CAN subscribe, BUT you have to push the button in the car to activate the system.

As stated above, I guess it is impossible since I would have to have the car to push the button and activate. The car did come with a year free, but as I said, it is used so little that I just didn't even think about it, the car is also ALWAYS under lock and key in a block building, they broke out a small window about 6 feet from the ground and must have boosted someone up to it, and I mean the window is small, like 10 year old kid small!

I just think there's gotta be some way to "backdoor" the system in an emergency. Say someone is abducted and taken in a stolen car, the on board GPS would provide authorities with the location. Maybe I'm just thinking too much along the lines of what CSI on TV does haha. Anyway, this sucks and hopefully the car turns up.

To me it sounds like it must have been someone you have come into contact with. Being that it was inside a locked building and required being boosted through a tiny window, someone was either taking a huge risk or knew what they were after.

    Good Luck.

Sure am sorry to hear this. Scream at Onstar until they hang up on you & call them back.

Would have to think this is somebody that knows you & your shop that pulled this crap off.

Yeah I know Brad, the car is usually with all of my other collector cars in my new building down the street, but developed a small oil leak and had a recall notice and I wanted to load it on the trailer and take it down to the dealer before the warranty ran out, 5 years/100,000 it will be 5 years in Aug.

So I brought it up to my repair shop, and put it in that building to see what the leak was( I have a lift there) but this is also the back of my Federated Auto Parts/Repair shop, so I am sure many people may have seen it there.

We moved out here 20+ years ago to get away from this #### (Philly) but the last 2/3 years we have seen this starting to get worse. Cop said he was sure in was a drug (meth head) related issue. I mean we are in the middle of nowhere, very small town.

I am just hoping it was some kid that wanted a joy ride and it's parked in some field somewhere, but as of right now, nothing. It just makes me feel like selling all my cars, because it just doesn't pay to have anything nice any more unless you can keep it shoved half way up your ###.

I just hate these stealing pricks.

Am sure who ever did it will be wanting some more meth or virtually anything to numb the pain if you find them first.

    Stan,
Sorry this happened. It sux big time. Can't the Police get with OnStar and track the vehicle? I understand it was not active, however I would hope in a time of emergency they can locate the car.

Hope they find it and it is OK.
