I worked 6-months for Scheiderer Transport...I ran my ### off and hardly had time to do laundry or anything for that matter....They said they would pay .40 a mile but when you really break it down it was more .32--.34......They talk to you like your bothering them when ever you have to call in....try to sell you a $20,000 truck for $49,000...The turnover is very high here....I worked their for 6-months and became one of their senior drivers__(LMFAO)....Now I gave them an ultimatum to fix the truck after 30 days of writing it up or im walking away....they refused to do it right away so I walked away....Now they wont release my final check, they claim they never received my final paperwork in the mail when the postal service says they had to from where it was mailed from...I didnt get delivery confirmation because I dropped it at a postal box at the TA.......I did contact the dept of labor and did file a claim....any other suggestions on getting money owed to me?....I guess when a drivers quits he better have enough to survive a month or two

You did the right thing. Look at it this way , money ain't everything. Even if they never pay you you still did the right thing. Never drive a vehicle that you know isn't safe. Not worth the trouble you could get in. Chalk it up. And move on.

Just move on and don't worry about the money, you'll probably get it eventually regardless. Don't piss them off to the point that will not provide a good reference for your next job application.
