They know this I told them that with over 30 years driving and nothing on my record I did not think I would have too much trouble finding another job. The DM said that was very true.
To be honest I do not think it was the DMs fault Both of them said they would send me home but they didnt have the authority to do so.

The deal is they don't care anymore. It's Heartland now. They don't care if you go home. They did it to me giving me ten million excuses.

It cost about $100 in fuel for you to DeadHead home. Not even a blip on the financial radar. Heck they pay that to fix a burned out trailer tail light.
I deadhead from either Reno or LA to home (350 to 400 mile) and do not bat an eye. It's a cost of doing business. -
That and taking days and days to get maintenance done.joseph1135 and Newtrucker bak Thank this.

And not getting it done or done right.Newtrucker bak Thanks this.

My guess is there's a whole lot of instability in personnel of all kinds, including managers, drivers, planners, and DM's. It's probably all part of the plan.tow614 Thanks this.

My guess is that is a big reason why drivers are leaving. I winder what there trunover rate is now
