BTW let me give all of you some advice. I bought an 07 century with a 60 series Detroit and an auto ####. No you didn't misread that. These transmissions are junk. Had nothing but problems out of it. All electrical and most I was able to get it to start working but still a pain in the ### and can be very costly.

They have had auto trans since the mid 90's. My truck is a 2000 and it has one. It works fine though just don't like how high the rpm's go before it shifts gears. It doesn't know what progressive shifting is.

Does it have the option to manual shift . On the column. I had a newer model that did. Kinda liked it especially in icy conditions

My shifter isn't on the column it is where a normail gear shift would be. You can use the button to shift it earlier but it will only work 100 rpm's earlier so 1500 instead of 1600.

Well truck transmission #### out again in Dallas. So I took it to Dallas Freightliner. They wanted to throw $5000 in parts at it before even doing any diagnosis. So I made some calls around my local area and found a shop that the guys SOUNDED like he knew exactly what he was talking about. And maybe he does...but my truck was in his shop for a week and he kept making excuses about why the work hadn't been completed. So yesterday I told him to put my truck back together that I was coming to get it like it was. When I got there I found that he had tore a hole in the side of my sleeper 2' by 2' and had tried to repair it by putting some bondo on it and spray painting it. Looks like ####. On top of that he stole about 80 gallons of fuel from me. So needless to say not having the best of luck lately. FML

Well its been one issue after another. All in total I've spent $9,300 in 6 weeks in repairs. Ahh the joys of being an o/o. Charge air cooler, xy shifter, wiring harness, tire, air lines, break line, ac(broke again lol), fifth wheel replaced, air governed, mud flap and hanger(tore off when tire blew out) whew !! Finger tired from typing lol. Air dryer is going out now. Need overhead run, need some body work done(repair shop tore hole in sleeper long story). I'm sure there's something in not thinking of
