I'd spend more time on antenna mounting than which antenna to buy.
The most expensive antenna on the average tractor trailer mounting job will be outperformed by a inexpensive antenna mounted with attention paid to ground losses and proper antenna matching every time.Go-Go Thanks this. -

A 102" whip mounted to the frame of your truck will beat any of those fancy expensive truck stop / CB shop antennas.
