We're on our way to NYC for about the 6th time and we enjoy the adventure -
I've been to Long Island (outside the city) about 20-30 times. I've been to Brooklyn or Queens for deliveries (and a pick up) about another dozen or so times. Not much different to me than Elizabeth, Jersey City, etc. Sure, tolls suck. But, just get enough on your load to justify paying them.
And yes, I've gotten lost in NYC several times. It's easy to happen. Miss your turn. Can't turn due to parked cars at the corner illegally, etc. NYC, slow and steady wins the race.allniter Thanks this. -

Try and stay off I-278 in Staten Island and Brooklyn if you can. I come through there with a set every Saturday and Sunday and let me tell ya...not a good time.
