Doing 55 dosent cost me money its cost me my sanity..if u do 55 thats cool...keep in my we drive 11 hours a day..if im going 10 to 20 miles faster then you for a couple miles it wont make a difference but if cross country it will make a huge difference. ..I might get 1 or 2 more loads in then you and get to the home 20 on a friday to see mama at the house

I agree with Stile... I see the same trucks passing me 2 and 3 times each day, and frequently we're parked at the same place each evening. O/O's who pay for their fuel gain very little by constantly running fast when they don't have to... all you're doing is shooting dead presidents out of the exhaust stack. Paying $4 per gallon at the fuel pump rapidly diminishes any gain made by those "extra loads."

I guess it depends on the driver...if u keep pulling over you wont get anywhere. ..I like to get my work out the way and come on back home...all I run is tx and Oklahoma latley. ..so I run hard and don't do all that starting and stoppin stuff

So let me get this straight... you're going to do your own sales calls to get freight contracts, then you're going to put them up on your own load board with all the information out there so anyone can underbid you, then bid on your own freight so you can drive down the road with it.

    LOL!

Brokers are the folks who get out there on the street, and do cold sales calls to shippers to get freight... it doesn't just magically appear while they're sittin' in their skivvies behind a computer screen. Think you can do that? And you expect them to invest all that time getting that freight for no recompense?
