yeah the place I did my physical they checked my eyes, hearing, weight, urine, blood pressure, cough check and then asked a few questions but never measured anything or had a sheet on sleep apnea but I had my machine in the car with all the data just in case they did. I use my machine religiously and never skip a night so im in 100% compliance if it was to ever come up, I did my sleep study on my own over a year before I ever got into trucking.

 

I have sleep apnea and love to use the cpap machine. For my DOT physical the doctor just asked that I get a note from my personal physician saying that my sleep apnea was under control which it is. Once I did that then he gave me my DOT card.

 

that in no way means anyone on depression medication isn't qualified, depression isn't on the same plane with a clinical psychosis, schizophrenia or major disorders. people with depression aren't running around wild eyed and crazy with knive and guns. you deal with people every day who probably are on the depression medication, the ones you should worry about , are those that go untreated, therin lies the roblem. but many don't seek help because of the stigma and misinformation about depression which is apparent in this thread.

and he went in and asked his doctor about his drinking I saw nothing where he was clinically diagnosed as an alcoholic.

 

Say less. Find a different doctor. Skip school and get your CDL the old fashioned way-- rent a truck to pass the road test. Apply at better companies.

You can get DOT card at any CVS with a minute clinic.

 

Without recent verifiable experience, most companies will tell you to go get a refresher course at a school.

You might be able to get a yard dog position, but nothing on the road.

This was the first time they didn't check the sack. She checked the upper part for hernia told me to turn my head and cough. She did get enjoyment hitting the knee's and rubbing that thing on my feet. She also said I was fatty fatty for batty banana fana for fatty fee fie for battyyyyy fatttty. Ok maybe she didnt' say that but I know she wanted to.
