Just got my 10 year driving record and had one ticket I forgot about and one I remembered.
-12/2007 - speeding less than 10 mph over
-07/2006 - speeding more than 10 but less than 25 mph over (was clocked at 17 mph over, 87 in a 70 zone)
Will these be an issue given they are over 5 years ago?
Both tickets got points, but points are 0 now.
Thanks, glad I got that record, I would have unintentionally left off the 2006 ticket

Iblampman, not everything you can do to lower your b.p. has to go through a doctor. Garlic is very good for lowering b.p. however if yoy are like me and do not eat enough garlic, onions etc. There is another option. Just go to Walmart and pick up a bottle of garlic capsules. Take one every morning band it should be enough to supplement your current meds and bring you below limits. I was right on the line (152/96) four days before I got here, I started on these and by the time I got here I read 137/78. They really do work and without chems pumped into your stream.

    lblampman Thanks this.

Apparently eggplant can also lower your BP.. might be worth a shout if you really need to lower it for a physical.

anyone know what prime's policy is on 'modifying' (for the lack of a better word) your truck? I don't mean anything permanent or irreversible , not altering anything related to safety, or the appearance, or the engine/drive train.. Just maybe a slightly better radio/head unit.

One driver told me pretty much anything goes as long as you're not putting any holes in the truck.

Anything you want done to a lease truck or company truck has to be done by the shop on your dime

I've pushed my orientation out to April 7th, there was just no way I was going to get everything done around the home front in the two weeks before the March 31st class. That includes going to the local (30 miles away) Social Security office to get a hard copy (which I haven't had in, oh say, 20 years). I also want to get my CDL permit before I head to Springfield; Washington State has the CDL manual online in PDF form so I've downloaded that for study and will take the test next week.

I'm not going to ride Greyhound from north of Seattle to Springfield, and the recruiter did say they'd reimburse me the equivalent of the bus ticket against my travel expenses. I'm going to fly from Seattle to Saint Louis then take the Greyhound (I'm pretty sure you have to arrive in Springfield on the dog in order to give you the motivation to not leave Springfield that way!). Due to flight pricing I'm going to fly to Saint Louis on Friday (4/4/14), stay overnight, and take the bus to Springfield on Saturday (4/5/14), so I'll be arriving a day early. Will they let you check into the Campus Inn a day early? And if so, do they charge for that (how much)?

Shouldn't be more than 25-30 dollars for a room @ the campus.

    Well that's darn reasonable.

    Thanks,
