    Hello , I just got my Columbia 2005 detriot 14l series inframe done Also, new turbo and rebuit head. Bunch of people told not to run it hard first couple thounds of miles let the motor settle in , idk what they mean . I'm getting my truck back in 2 days . What should I look for after rebuit . Thanks

    run it like you stole it.the same way you always run.keep close eye on fluids.hose clamps always need tightening.good luck.

    Well lol, i paid almost 2,800 on kit . Pistons, liners , cylinders n bucnch of there stuff that comes the kit . 1,500 to rebuilt head , 1600 for new turbo and 4,000 labor lol

    Not bad on price... I'd say like others, don't baby it, work that sumfgun like it should be. 45k load and get that engine hot and toasty.

    Follow cool down procedures though, don't want that hot turbo to cook the oil inside of it with out circulating it to cool.

    What do you mean by cool down procedures , like not to turn off turbo hot wait to cool it down
