I 80 Closed In Wy

My dad and I left home near Rock Springs in 80 degree weather and headed to Powell for a 4th of july weekend get together with relatives and got snowed out near South Pass and had to turn around and go back home.Big Wonderful Windy Wyoming.

 

That's the thing about Wyoming...if the wind ever stopped blowing, all the cows would fall down...

 

In Wyoming we call them cattle.

Cows get milked, cattle get grilled.

 

Either way works for me. Artiodactyla bovidae bovinae provides us with both cheese and burgers; what could be more perfect?

 

The scenery in WY is some of the prettiest I've ever seen in the country, especially the mountains, I'll give y'all that. As far as anything else, I'll take the unpredictability of the mid-west's weather. At least we know there's gonna be trees with green leaves and green grass from May through October. That is, of course, unless there's a drought in July or August that burns the grass up and curls up those leaves.

I reckon if I had been born out there I might appreciate it more.
