Unfortunately that's happening a lot these days when you've got people who don't have anything better to do except rag on experienced drivers as if they're company slaves.
Personally I won't tolerate it. I ignore them as much as possible.
They go on and on about how wonderful a life saver the "Smith System" is and despite the fact I've got 17 yrs of no accidents or tickets they still try to convince me that with the SS I'll be a much better driver.
But I always rub it in though at my tanker company, after they revealed to me that they had 29 rollovers last year.
    No......that's not a typo. 29 big ones!!
Dont worry, I remind them of that at every opportunity. IMHO there is no best tanker company. They've all got their pros and cons.

    realsupatrucka Thanks this.

I understand what you mean. I drove for them 12 years. Quit 12/2013. At the terminal, it can be very intense (multiple meanings ). But, maybe, think, you leave all that behind when you drive your truck out the gate.

It's a very bad symptom of this country. I've lived here long enough to know that this micro management is outta control. I just tell them to go away, leave me alone. But there's some decent chemical companies out there. A buddy of mine works for QC and loves it. He's out of Ft Worth. But be careful of them, as he pointed out. You have to pick the right terminal with that mob.

    Stormdriven and realsupatrucka Thank this.
