the t/a downtown Nashville was complety redone about 3 years ago after a flood, the place has armed security and it a great stop these days. it was rough back in the day, but not any longer.

if for some reason you think the t/a currently is horrible there in downtown Nashville, you are gonna be really shocked in some places. perhaps you are going on what you have been told about the place.

does anyone remeber the Cloverleaf truckstop in east Fort Wayne,In?

    How about the Hi-De-Ho truckstop?

    Or the Melco truckstops?

    Skelly's and Blue and White?

Tell ya what...The 76's came along and made 6pm feel real good with a cup of coffee and a dimly lit atmosphere....(Thumbs up)

Nowadays.......These arent even truckstops....They are called TravelCenters and are Catered to the motoring public without any relief for truckers.......(Basially,A trucker dont matter anymore)

Yeah...The Last thing i want to do after a 12-14 hour day is stumble inside a Brightly Lit truckstop with Soccer moms and Kids running around.

There's a fence around it now? Huh. I haven't been there in close to 20 years. It was certainly a hole back then.

I remember the sign in the Flying J in Post Falls, years ago, that said something about truckers being on a schedule and would be served first. Yep, those days are long gone. Now, you get to stand in line behind a string of people buying sodas, lottery tickets, etc... just to get your fuel receipt. Pilot is the worst offender for this. I hate PFJ. Hate FJ since Pilot took them over and I've hated Pilot since they put Aladero's out of business.

Same as the "Drivers only section"@ the orange ball where they did wait on u rite away&expedite ur order---because unlike the so called driver section today--it was supposed to be for "on duty" drivers only.....and almost All of us respected that policy.......
I remember the others u mention also---but just had to add the cheesburgers at the old Blue n Whites---Rocked--lol
    Jus sayin

Never stayed there but Pearsall never struck me as that kind of town. Then again neither does San Antonio and the Flying J is full of them.

I doubt you'll have to worry.
