what I am saying is that your not going to work for a company just because they want to hold a 500 dollars in escrow that might make 5.00 dollars in ln interest in a year come on what is the real reason he didn't go to work here
just didn't like that idea that he was talking about who I work for when i know what he's saying is b.s.just like the post below me about the log books I know for a fact that anybody working there asked you to falsify a log it would be them getting fired not the driver

You were never "asked" to falsify your logs, you were told to do the run or return to Canton and clean out your truck. If your DM asked you to do something and you told him it was illegal, you were sure to get a phone call telling you to do it so as not to leave a paper trail, if you still refused you would be told to hold the line while the terminal mgr. Tom would pick up the phone and give you the option, do the load or return to Canton and clean out your truck. I know you AD cheerleaders will say this is BS, just ask any drivers who ran Ford parts loads to Virginia then were told to do a pickup in downtown Baltimore

Its not so much that one single drivers escrow. It doesnt sit in an individual acct. they are pooled together. So 500x however many drivers, that interest adds up. It is also non taxable funds. Many companies do this now especially with O/O. Its become just another source of revenue.

you're talking about years ago yes I ran the ford plant and pick up in Baltimore so big deal so now tell us the reason your not there any more

I was told to pick up the load or return to Canton and clean out the truck, so I did just that, I'm now retired but I refused to run illegal while I drove. If you feel you must drive for a company such as this, that's your choice.

Thanks for the offer, but as I said, I'm retired now and loving life in beautiful sunny Florida

I work for AD if you don't like running go to Elogs. I've never had a issue rejecting a load due to hrs. No company is perfect but AD is pretty close. I make good money/hometime. Of course living close to to yard helps. I would recommend this company to any drivers with at least 2 yrs exp.

I see their trucks pass me regularly. There drivers don't seem unhappy and have trucks that will run the speed limit. Some a little older some new. I do wonder though why some of them have extra lights/chrome.

you sound like a company rep trying to defend the undefendable, i wasnt fired,im just warning other drivers out there. Its true.. They do yell at you for one dollar and thirty four cents, and the president is out to take full advantage of you to rack up his bank account from not paying you certain work that you perform,so he can take vacations to mexico and europe fully payed for by you. He said he pays for motel rooms.. Yeah right.. I never got one. Everything i said is true,im not a malcontent, i worked for a great company now that pays me by the day/// all my time is paid for// i make 960 dollars a week salary working from 44 to 50 hrs.. Go talk to some of their drivers, most are pissed off.
