Self serve machines at Pilot/Flying J

Everything is made overseas. Hell most toyotas are more "American" then Cadillac,ford,Chevy etc
How long do you spend hunting and searching for those "made on the USA" stickers that were probably made in China?
I'll use a self checkout anytime I can. If the companies save money by not paying cashiers they can afford to lower prices and still make a profit. So I'm all for it.

 

And where does one actually see truckstops actually lowering prices....hummmmmm....let's see use to be (loves still is) buy 50 gals of fuel got free drink in your own cup....nowadays it seems the coffee prices just keep rising, along with the fuel prices really? I really can't tell you one place that really has lower prices....... Well ok .99 cent stores and dollar store and in Oregon when it say dollar store you bet it's all a dollar, and guess what no automated machines there.

so being that it's a pipe dream that one will see lower prices in reality you won't and yes you will still be paying for that overpriced coffee

 

I doubt if they lower prices, but hey Mr Pilot guy can buy another football team and pay them millions. Don't you want to be a part of that?

I have seen these at a couple of Pilots in TN. At first I didn't want to use them but they are easy, just like the ones in Walmart. I expect we will be seeing more of these machines replacing people especially if the minimum wage is increased.

 

i would have have to agree with you, but again it won't mean lower prices either.

 

Well we have now gone from Full Service Fueling--all the way to Self Service Checkouts---next they're gonna want US to wash THEIR windows---

 

Dont forget clean the showers, bathrooms, and restock the shelves too, they have people already who unload the trucks lmao
