UPDATE/Trucks keep rolling...for now

Yeah I saw that story as well.. but I wouldn't take it at face value. From watching the internet for the past few weeks for information about the shutdown there is definitely an impact being seen today. Before I could only find a few message boards, today its a different story. There are/have been stories on all of my local TV stations (not just FOX =p ), CNN, Associated Content's website, even Yahoo. So it's out there, it's happening.


Edit: Adding MSNBC to the list, just saw a spot on tv about the shutdown in California.

 

It's just my opinion but if the National News Media like CNN is covering it, then people are aware and takin notice what the truckin industry means to our country! I'm not sayin it's changing anything yet but at least it's out there!!!

 

not all trucker believe that this wil happen.yall know as well as i do that what is said on a cb is taken with a grain of salt.if it happend on the first the next one will draw more support. and if that one is carried out the next one will draw more once they all see that it is not b.s. keep it up i have been out of trucking for nearly a yr but my family will support. all the way we will not buy gas for the cars that day or week my dream is to get my own truck but with six kids it just cannot happen with fuel like it is
