I hear ya Johnboy. It may not change immediately, but it's coming down the pike sooner than later. I was happy to be a part of GTI, but it is what it is.

On the taxi with the suicidal foreigner to hopefully make it to the plane where I'll have a little more faith in the pilot (where's Captain Sully when you need him?) to get back to Lessors.

Back to running good again! See you kids in Seattle, maybe I'll stop by GTI and show them how to truck, oh wait, tried that, their computer knew better than me.

Hey kids. Most of you guys know me. Some of you have even had the displeasure of meeting me, lol. Some of you know that I came back here to Lessors after a spell at Gordon Trucking. So here's my dilemma. Since I left, they've hired nothing but knuckleheads. That's what it seems like. I'm not a recruiter, I'm a driver, but I have to throw it out there that they need GOOD DRIVERS, not steering wheel holders. The constant screw ups are getting old. If you're looking and are in the hiring area, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Oregon, Idaho, Washington, New Jersey, New York, the Los Angeles area, Minnesota, Virginia, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Tennessee are the states off the top of my head, and if you're not a complete moron, give them a call. New trucks, new trailers, all APU and e-log equipped, 1800 watt inverters, and good miles if you're a good driver. Pay starts from .35/mile to .41/ per mile with 1/2 cent raises every six months with no cap. It's a reefer outfit but we also have an entertainment division. You can get to pull country music/conventions/ shows/etc if you so feel inclined. Not me, no thanks. But it's worth a shot if you are out here to make money, and make my life easier by not having to deal with the mouth breathing morons that I have to deal with here that can't get from virginia to North Carolina without screwing up. I'm sure I didn't list the entire hiring area so give them a shout to see what's up. It's not the best company that bows at your feet, etc, but you can make $50,000+ a year, be out 3 weeks and have a week off, and drive new Peterbilts, Kenworth and Freightliner trucks with trailers that are traded after 4 years. Trucks after 3. Thanks guys. Anything you want to know just PM me and I'll send you in the right direction
carramrod32 Thanks this. -
I would if all the good companies wouldn't have those pesky age requirement.

I even have reefer experience from when I worked at Roehl. I will say the worst part about reefer is wash outs.

Just an update (been updating on my stuff at the other thread) but since I came back, I've run 7566 miles in the last 2 weeks, and have been enjoying driving again and my AC actually works (GTI I didn't have it for 9 months). Next up is Florida to New Hampshire then off to Vermont to Wisconsin. It feels good to run again.
