This is NOT an argument. I was merely trying to clarify a point in the terminology used. I agree with you breadhauler. And I cannot believe that Jeremy is allowed to make that statement. An Airdog is patented and will remove the air. A FASS will not. The term AirDog is used by Pureflow and Fuel Preporator. FASS (in this spelling) is the copycat. You cannot have an AirDog Fass. It is one or the other. They are two different products. Someone who does not know what is which while considering the purchase of one of these things may end up being confused. If you look at ads for each you WILL NOT see the words AirDog and FASS in the ad other than for comparison. FASS is what it is. On the other hand fass could be an abreviation of fuel air separation system. I can assure you that Charles Eckstam would not approve of Jeremy's choice of words. As for comments I have an AirDog and will never buy another FASS. I would buy a fass. (fuel air separation system). I will not buy a FASS. Ease Up! Life is to short. I read your posts and do respect you. I was merely TRYING to clarify terminology.

Have had the FASS on my truck since 2004 and replaced the pump once with no injector problems that entire time so it must be removing the air and dirt particles as claimed.

The Fuel Preporator (Airdog) vs FASS war has been going on for a long time between father and son that sell the same product that does the same thing no matter what you hear.

Not sure about price. But I will say Jermey at Pure Flow Tech. goes way beyond the normal customer service. He even drove out of his way after work to bring me a couple of filters on one of the coldest night this winter. They have even called to check on their product a year after the sale.
For that kind of service, I'd hardly look at the price difference though I doubt their is much.
Also Pure Flow guys are at the truck show talking and showing things to guys every year but I've never seen the FASS guys there.
Also the air dog system comes with a nice little book about other things to help the fuel system like larger lines and reversing the line front to back. Also comes with a restriction fitting to boost fuel pressure. They also have a light system to tell when the pump is working to hard because the filter is getting full.
I know very little about the FASS brand system. It might be very similiar.

Fass is about $6-700. Airdog is $1100-1300, I'm leaning towards $1100 for my 3406E

Considering the family feud, if Brad's FASS copied Charlie's design I would think dad would file for patent infringement. From what I've been told the FASS doesn't work.

In all fairness, Brad was very nice to me as a customer when he still worked for his father selling the original Fuel Preporator.

Good point, if Pgh Power could sell either, why would they sell FASS if it doesn't work?

Right. And if it works, for 1/2 the price of the Air Dog, why spend the extra money?
