Ya, Sorta. I'm working for a beverage company locally. Got hired as a driver helper which is basically how they train you to do the job, I'm now doing all the driving, but still being paid like an illegal immigrant. I'm gonna give it a little more time, but from what I can see, and from talking to others they get you in, switch you to a salary (which isn't too terrible), but then abuse mandatory OT. Sadly I've got my 1st kid on the way and I cant ditch my wife to go OTR or regional, I see a lot of really descent job offers around, but none for a first year driver. I knew the first year would be rough, but I was still hoping for a few more bucks an hour than I'm getting.

 

Just a head’s up. Shipper’s Choice is still a ripoff. I am starting a class action lawsuit
