It is now Friday again, and I still have not been able to book a load to NE (North East ) for a nominal market rate. I have been in the market of Macon, GA, Anderson SC, Columbia SC since last week but not been able to book a load as of yet. How long you guys sit to book a load out of 9.72 loads /Truck market???????????
SC and NC GA all are hotter than last year this time around. CH Robinson, Landstar, TQL and Coyote and many others have been contacted on numerous loads last weeks effort to book a nominal priced load but all ended up in fail. Here is how the market stats looked like.

Internet truckstop has some loads posted. If you have a van/reefer there is a load paying $3600 from Greenville SC to Boston loads today.
866-376-0064 SPC Transport has it posted. It says 3 xtra stops but it would get you where you want to be. Also Source has a Orangeburg SC to Uncasville CT $2500 1 stopper. 800-864-8133 xt 1 good luck!

Again you need to call DAT and cancel all the extra BS your paying for because them numbers ant close if your looking for $4.25/mi rates your going to be there for another few weeks before you give up.

Who cares what other people are moving loads for it's obvious your negotiation skills suck you think the brokers care there are ten loads posted for ever truck NO.....there going to get there loads moved, ever wondered why them loads are gone the next day? It's because your expectations are too high!!!

I'm not sure what kind of $ you are looking for to get back but we're based out of Omaha and run a lot of freight to and from IA/NE. If you're looking for more than $2.25-2.5 per mile coming straight back you'll be in trouble. As an example we run Raleigh area to Sioux City frozen loads for 1850-1900 all the time. We also have the same load in reverse from Sioux to Raleigh which pays about double that. As opposed to sitting around waiting for the perfect load, why not get back to NE/IA where rates are high and get another load out. I also agree with an earlier poster that you should consider getting something to OH, IL and then get something to NE.

What will be your clue ? If you made over 500 calls in a market with 9.71 loads to one truck and over 2000 loads posted currently with posting rate better than 15 posts / minute and they are telling me every one is running for fuel n tolls, Whats your's problem??
Here is an example listing by Heart of Dixie n Armstrong. No I wont say it behind the seen Mafia or anything, I guess it is with every one right!!
And the the ever strong US Freight Market is not true reports by GOV n Economics Data, Market Analysis reporting agencies and DAT networks n list goes on. You dont have to go far just filled up one side tank $4.64/gal. Since anywhere I go I have never been able to book a load on the first day (even if the market is running at 9.71 loads / truck and the truck stops parkings are empty) my average is about 5 miles/gal. My basic Insurance by Hub group International/ Sentry Insurance cost me approx $.23/mile ($8000 year/40k IFTA miles approx)
Thats only two things. So you are telling me that these all trucking companiesw are running at below the cost of operation???
