Why would you want to live there? cost of living will break ya,if not the taxes.
I live 50 miles south of Reno, deadhead to and from California to get home, and then when I leave out. We have a whole bunch of shippers in Cen. Cali.

The only thing that bothered me was waiting on the new license. Starting a new job and moving across the country might be a little much to take on all at once. Like the no state income tax, weather, and all the rides in adult Disneyland :yes2557: How many customers do we have in Las Vegas??? Or should I think about Reno area instead?

OK little bit of catching up to do!!!
    DAY THIRTY
N LAS VEGAS to DRAGOON AZ
    Tuesday 25 Mar

Pretty interesting driving day today!! Headed out from Vegas and heading to Indiana via the southern route is interesting, especially the very first part of it!! Out of Henderson and down the long open valley on US95 to NV163 across to Laughlin back into AZ via Bullhead City onto AZ68 is not for the faint hearted, north and a long climb up to Union Pass and DEFINITELY easier going north!! Into Kingman and then down US93 to Phoenix, that ain't no picnic either!!! Through the usual mess that is Phoenix and then drive into a nice little dust storm (my first i might add!!!) through Tucson and then a little further to a rocky rest area not far from the NM border.

    468 miles driven

    DAY THIRTY TWO
    PECOS,TX to ANNA,X
    488 Miles driven

A slightlier busy day today!! Stop for my thirty minute break to send the office a message asking if they have a delivery time to Pendleton get a call back. Seems they think it will be easirt to get me home if they swap a load with a guy picking up out of Garland,TX (going to Bartlett,IL) for Saturday am rather than the load I am on which if they cannot get it on Friday they dont want it till Sunday and they do not want to leave me hanging out there till Sunday....very nice of them I thought!! So I get to swap loads which therefore gets me a definite 4,400 miles for this week!!! Lovely!! I'll take that!!!

So this will give me (closing March out) for a full month no less than 12,361 miles. Just about the highest I have ever had in a single month at any trucking company I have been with.

I am really enjoying things here at Holland.

Got a Shorter run from Phoenix to SLC and Layton.

Had just enough time to Stop and go for a Walk/Hike lol.
Parked across the road from the Casino right after you get into Nevada.
Walked over to the Hoover Dam.

Picked up a load in Ogden with 3 Stops.
First stop is Ochelata, 1200 miles problem is I only had 9h on 14 when I picked it up.
