Hi all! Long story short - the setup:
Truck driver, owner of S-Corp that contracts for Motor Carrier. S-Corp gets 1099 from MC.
Would like some advice from knowledgable people on:
what expenses can go on 1120s,
what expenses must only go on business part of personal return.
Any advice and feedback are welcome.
Thanks in advance.

I would suggest that you find a good tax accountant. Don't take advice on this from the internet.
tserberis and Cranky Yankee Thank this. -
Exactly!
if you have not filed an extension you are late. The deadline for an S corp is March 15. -
Wants free advice, probably wants free preparation.
-
PS if you did/not file a corp. return on 3/15/2014 you now might be on the hook for 2300$ late fileing fee?

I thought free advice was what this forum was for ......my mistaketserberis Thanks this.

Look at the question.
Been in business for a period, return is late, why no accountant involved.
No problem giving advice at a general level, but now this guy is trying to avoid it in full. -
Extension was filed. But I see where this is going. Sorry for asking. My mistake.

I could not give you a knowledgable answer to your direct questions. I don't know exactly, I have an accountant who handles all of it. I do know per diem and health care go on the personal side. I also know the IRS is out for all they can get weather they are "entitled" to it or not. If you make a mistake it will cost you...... a lot!!!
My advice.... if you don't have drivers and are not planning on having drivers dissolve the LLC. It's not worth the headache for little to no gain. It offers no protection if you are driving the truck or you are not following the LLC rules to the letter.tserberis Thanks this. -
Corp not LLC. Can't dessolve, required to contract for this paticular MC. But thanks anyways.
