Yeah I know. When I was on Kraft Rodger told me that if he had 10 of me his life would be cake. Now I understand.
Anyone here on Kraft and working with Rodger? How are things after the Swift take over?

I too am an ex West Coast Kraft driver, now in retirement. Am also wondering how Rodger and his drivers were doing with Swift.
BTW: I had a few DM's in my 4 plus years, but, none as good as Rodger!!! -
Anyone have any info on running mid west farmland dedicated? The good, the bad, the ugly, i want to hear it all!
-
A lot of sitting around. That's why they offer the minimum pay. But they'll try to screw you on that. Make sure when you go home. You take your home time in one week (Monday-Wednesday) because if your home time overlaps into two weeks. You lose your minimum pay for both weeks.mostly night driving. The worse part about it was a certain dm. But she's no longer there.Lady K Thanks this.

What's the minimum pay for the farmland account? I think when I was there it was just a mileage guarantee unless you went home or in the shop? Do they not pay by the mile nownow?
-
Yeah. It's a mileage guarantee. I think it's .38/mi and 2300 miles guarantee.
-
ya farmland is 38 cents a mile/2300 miles guarantee. i dont mind sitting. as long as i get my money. but i like to go home. so ya it wouldnt work for me.

Moose, does Rodger's last name start with a W?
If so, I used to always call him my travel agent because he always told me where I was going.
When I was in the caves at Nestle the qualcomm wouldn't work because of course we're under ground. I was afraid I'd lose out on a load so I used the pay phone in the break room to call Rodger to dispatch me the old fashioned way.
"Are you calling me from your truck?"
"No, I had to leave my truck at the dock because the qualcomm won't put out."
Long pause
"What the heck kind of app did you download for that thing?"Buckeye91 Thanks this. -
Just wondering if anybody can tell what kind of equipment central runs? Is it the luck of the draw as to what's available when you come out of training or is there a pecking order. Thanks in advance

i would say, maybe 90%? Something around there. Of company drivers get put in freight shaker cascadias. Certain terminals have been putting upgrades in Pete 386. I saw a lady the other day who is a new upgrade and got seated in a BRAND NEW pete 587. So it's really up to each terminal.
