Wilson 2000 installation help?

    Hi,

    I have the Wilson 2000 with the 10"shaft. It worked well on my truck's mirror mount. I now need to mount in on the roof of my car.
    I have seen the Wilson 1000-5000 roof mount & the Wilson Gumdrop mount .

    Which would be appropriate for the roof install.

    Any ideas are appreciated!!

    Trucker series antennas CAN work on a roof of a car with a new base for the antenna to screw in but it'll look kinda goofy and won't perform as well as a magnet mount or roof mount. I think it'll catch too much wind too. Trust me, been there and done that! You'll hear the antenna flopping all over the place when the wind sucks it off!

    They make magnet mounts then you just screw antenna into the mount works fine and will perform good seen a lot bigger antennas installed that way running big power
