i would say that you would probably be one if the few who view it that way, and I think to most of those that consider themselves professional drivers would most likely say that you are a professional driver and not a super trucker. Most see the super truckers as again those who need to speed through the fuel islands, race around the truck stops or those that just have the I am more important attitude when they are just behind the wheel. They to me are the ones who pass you 3 times while you both are going in the same direction. But hey to each his own, as we all know the only way we are going to make it home or be able to park safely at night are those who are diligent about what they do and drive in a professional manner.
There are far fewer professional drivers than there are super truckers.
Any Super Truckers out and about know anything about Southern Tank Transport

I'm finding the beginning of this thread to be rather hilarious.

I can't say I have ever seen a Southern Tank Transport rig. I have seen Southern Tank leasing but I always thought they just leased out tank trailers.
-
I seen they had a website. ..I thought they shuttled trailers to they customers. ..I didn't know they hauled product in them

Recognize a troll, ignore and move on.

I still haven't figured out what a troll looks like, I am reading kids books do they look like the ones in crayon with 3-5 words written on one page? -
I'm no supertrucker, but I did drive for Southern for awhile, out of the New Braunfels terminal. It was a good company, with great people from top to bottom. The work was easy, they paid percentage, and had good insurance. Lots of guys stayed there 'til they retired, and I thought I'd be one of them.
The problem is that the dry bulk business is up-and-down, and I was looking for more consistent money, so I decided to go to liquid tankers. I wouldn't have even considered leaving Southern Tank for another dry bulk carrier.Last edited: Jun 8, 2014

Mine was very similar to this one, with two notable exceptions: mine was a daycab, and had duals on the drive axles.
