I'm starting to wonder if the original OP had a real situation going on. If it was just someone starting a thread because they were bored or etc.,then I fail to see the humor. There have been people on this thread who have gave their good honest opinions. It's Tuesday in the PM,and no response from the OP ?

i strongly suspect there is more going on here. My bf drives for Boyd and while he may have an issue here and there with his dispatcher they have always been quick to get issues straight for him. There are just too many options of people to call. 3 different terminals with different advantages. Sorry but I don't see them making him sit except maybe through Mon afternoon.

It doesn't make sense that a company would let a truck and driver sit this long.

Maybe he finally got moving.Very much doubt he was making anything up.Far as companies making drivers sit this long, yes they do.Which I don't understand because in this industry its all about making money but yet companies do make drivers sit for days and days,.But I would have dropped the trailer and headed to the trk stop for something to eat shower ect then go back to the trailer in spite of what my company says.It does sound like the op didn't pressure his company to do something.Me on the other hand wouldn't have gave them a moments peace.

I don't refer to him a dumb for making the mistake, I agree we all make make mistakes, no matter how long you have driven. I refer to him as dumb for letting the company treat him as if he was not even human. No food water or even a place to use the restroom. He had control over that and chose to let the company treat him that way. DUMB
