Is there a way to get suspensions removed from your cdl driving record??? I have 4 suspensions for unpaid fines that i wouldnt recieve mail in time before suspension cutoff due to living on the road!!! All my reinstatements where no more than 10 days after i found out my license was suspended, i would take care of them right away after i knew. All this stuff happened in 2011 and sad to say i cant get a job with a clear mvr cause if the suspensions smh
need help!!!!

Good question, wish I had an answer. But then again I wouldn't let unpaid tickets go.Living on the road is no excuse not to pay tickets. You're not the only driver who has fines to pay and live on the road but they manage to get it paid.Whats going to happen if you get another fine while on the road, are you going to ignore that.Im curious,4 fines in a yr,were they all speeding tickets?Maybe that also has something to do with why companies won't hire you.

Lol no im not making it excuse. I learned ny lesson already im trying to move forward. No non of my tickets where for moving violations such as speeding. One was a overweight ticket in cali 1100$ and one was for not faxin my medical card to dmv even though it wasnt expired (was unaware of the law) and the other unpaid fines was a log ticket and a tire ticket. All stupid ####.

Im from cali, had my license for 10 yrs. Started driving at 21. In cali the old rules where an outta state ticket couldnt suspend your license so i took advantage of that. So all that stuff started hittin me 5 6yrs later after 2010 when fmcsa updated systems

Basicly what im saying is the tickets that were unpaid dont even show on my mvr, however the suspension do because they took place years after the tickets where issued

That's good none was speeding.Think the 4 suspensions in a yr is whats shying companies away.Try the mom and pop outfits. They have a more lenient insurance company.
DriverToBroker Thanks this. -
If there is, you'll have to lawyer up.

So in other words you knew and just thought you would skirt the rules because Cali wouldn't suspend you?
You do realize you could be jailed/license removed if stopped again in a state you refused to pay, right?
Nothing you can do until it falls off on its on. -
Here is my situation on the subject.
I had driven commercially from 88 till 96. I started with an $8, 25 questions, class A chauffeurs license, then was grandfather into the CDL. I got into construction in late 96 and gave up my CDL when I moved to Fl in 99.
That said,.. the street racing scene was pretty intense in Tampa from 1999 - 2007. I was caught up in it hard. Lost my license 3 times.
Construction dried up and company I worked for folded in 2009. By 20011 my unemployment was running out, my side jobs were drying up as others were feeling the pinch too. I decided to fall back onto the only thing I had left. How ever my driving record was now pretty much toast. I talked with an attorney. For $900 he made it all go away. The suspensions were all put on step dockets. MVA record modified. I then reacquired my CDL, the rest is history. It can be done.
How ever,.. the main difference is that I was not suspended while on a CDL license. I didnt want to pay to transfer my endorsements from Md to Fl,.. so I told them to just give me a Class E operators permit. I had no intention of ever driving commercially again. Funny how when push comes to shuv we do things we said we would never do again. I'm doubtful that a suspended CDL record would be modified. My situation hinged on whether or not the judge would allow the modifications. Given my poor guy on hard times, trying to find employment situation, I got lucky. If I still had my CDL status I'm not so sure I would have been so lucky. It cant hurt to ask/try. I mean,.. its only money.
