As far as I know the reefer guys clean up good. I couldn't tell you honestly. And not alot of drop n hooks on reefers for us anyways. I could be wrong.

Outside testers come in and test. They're nice guys. Do a straight, offset to your left or right (usually left), and the 90degree

Hopefully when I test they won't even remember the parallel parking. That looks insane for a newbie!

Believe it or not it is a maneuver you will need to be able to do. Have your trainer show you how it's done, it is easier than it looks. Just remember it's all about the setup and watching your mirrors.

Dragonfly619 and Red dog cliff Thank this.

As he said. They are all easier then they look. Just remember G.O.A.L. It will save your butt many times.

Let me give all of you new drivers some advice. While it is ultimately your responsibility to not hit anything you will find that drivers help each other out here. More than once I have had to blind side in at a truck stop and drivers were out there helping other drivers get backed in. The companies that we pull freight for are in competition, but drivers are part of a brotherhood. Help when you can and accept help when offered. Another way to help drivers is when they are having trouble sliding their tandems.
