Good Night From II

Whenever that happens to me, it's always a crap trailer ... never a nice shiny new one ... anyone else notice that 15**** trailers are now making their way into the fleet. Saw one in SLC last week.

When I was runnin solo OTR I picked up a crappy old 5 series trailer thinking "no big deal, I'm just going 10 miles down the road for a drop and hook". Seven days later I was still attached to that trailer. For an entire week every load I took was supposed to be drop and hook but turned into live load/unload. I was beginning to think that I would never drop it because I couldn't even count on dropping it when the ppln said it was a drop.

 

skipped the number 14 due to they consider those as 14 footers.

 

salem or. dropped the trailer of bird seeds at the home depot dc. they had no empties, so bobtailed out

 

Lordsburg, NM. So sick of these winds. About 10 days ago when I was down here, 25mph with gusts out of the SW. Today, the same, and from the weather forecast, all the way to Phoenix. Then when I shift directions on Monday and head East, the winds are also shifting, out of the NE. Just can not get out of them.

The last 'load' I got was to move my mt to Costco after delivering a live unload in Bradley.
At least I don't have to fight for parking.

 

The 14xxxx with the old graphics are the 14 footers. I believe those are being renumbered into the 4xxxxx series.

 

toledo or. went to pilot in brooks to wait for a preplan. of course got one when getting something to eat. sent me to safewayin clackamas for my mt and drove back to same pilot for fuel since i only had 1/4 tank. got here in toledo with one minute to spare. do my sleep break here and pick load up in the morning. on my way here, a car had just overturned into ditch on hwy 101(didnt see it happen) so pulled over to see if they needed help. was about 6 guys helping, so after making sure authorities were called, and lucky they were not hurt seriously, i left since my trailer was partially in lane

Dropped my Walmart load in Pauls Valley then picked up a Dollar Tree load.
I was invited to join the Dollar Tree dedicated account out of Oklahoma and I'm seriously considering doing it.
